WORD FROM THE BIBLE(ORACLE) FOR TODAY

Welcome to 07/04 and the key to DIVINE
PLEASING & BLESSING is in 1Sam.07/04-
"Then the children of Israel did put away
Baalim and Ashtaroth, and served the Lord
only"
God is a jealous God that must be served and
worshipped devoid of every other idol or
god!
You must purely purged yourself of
everything that contends with God in your
life and heart.
Only then can you be a partaker of God's
exceptional promises-"Therefore come out
from among them, and be ye separate, saith
the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing;
and I will receive you, And will be a Father
unto you, and ye shall be my sons and
daughters, saith the Lord Almighty."
2Cor.6:17,18
1.Abraham needed to put away the idols of
his forefathers and serve the only living God
before he could partake of divine covenant.
2.Ruth needed to put away her comfort zone
of Moab and serve the true God of Israel in
order to become one of the favored fore-
mothers of Jesus-"how thou hast left thy
father and thy mother, and the land of thy
nativity, and art come unto a people which
thou knewest not heretofore" Ruth 2:11
3.Saul also needed to put away all his self
righteousness and self acclaimed religiousity
in order to serve Jesus.This made him one of
the foremost apostles of Jesus-"But what
things were gain to me, those I counted loss
for Christ" Philp.3:7
Until you put away every sin, idol, worldly
lust, vain pleasure, self righteousness,
comfort zone and indulgence, your service to
God can not be well pleasing unto accessing
divine promises.
"Having therefore these promises, dearly
beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all
filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting
holiness in the fear of God" 2Cor.7:1
O LORD, help me to put away every idol and
sin that take your place in my heart and
make my life well pleasing in thy sight unto
inheriting your exceedingly great and
precious promises in Jesus name!
YOU MUST PUT AWAY EVERY IDOL FOR GOD
TO PUT ON YOU EVERY BLESSING
